Deschutes Brewery Twilight 5k Run/Walk

| COURSE DESCRIPTION |
| Race will stage on Powerhouse Dr near the Deschutes Brewery Warehouse. From there head south on Shevlin Hixon and hang a right on Columbia. Follow Columbia to Colorado Ave where you turn left onto the bike path that parallels Colorado. Follow the path to Mt. Bachelor Dr and take a left. Head down to the roundabout and turn left onto Reed Mkt. and run across the Bill Healy Bridge. Turn into Farewell Park after crossing the bridge and follow paver path closest to the river all the way to the footbridge at the Old Mill next to the Gap. Cross footbridge and turn left onto multi use path. Follow path through tunnel and continue along path that parallels river. Turn right onto the path that cuts through River Bend Park and run by the Parks and Recreation building across Columbia Ave onto Shevlin Hixon and run into the grass area near the warehouse. |
| REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK UP |
| Before August 18th entries can be dropped off at the Footzone 845 Wall St, Bend, OR, 97701. Day of registration and packet pick up for pre registered will take place at the Finish area located on the lawn north of the Deschutes Brewery warehouse from 3-6:45pm. |
| AID STATION |
| One aid station along course serving water. |
| POST RACE FESTIVITIES |
| Deschutes Brewery will be hosting a Beer Garden serving Twilight Ale. Awards will follow the race. Please bring ID for beer garden. Beer served to racers only so hang on to your race number. Food will be available for racers only. Musical entertainment will accompany the post race party. |
| AWARDS |
| Awards will be given for top 3 male and female and overall masters (40+) male and female. |
| PARKING |
| Please Do not Park along Powerhouse Dr as we need to keep that clear for traffic going to the Riverfront Park and the Old Mill. |
| THE CAUSE |
| In addition to a fun running event a portion of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Bend Ronald McDonald House. For more information on the great organization go to http://www.rmhcofcentraloregon.org. |
