Awards will be given to top three overall male and female as well as overall master master male and female.
Aid stations will be located along the course with water and electrolyte drink. Weather in October is usually cool but be prepared for anything as Central Oregon weather can be very unpredictable.

Corse Description This 13.1 mile course starts and finishes at the 7th Mountain Resort. With the exception of the parking area at the Inn itself the course is all dirt. The course is made up of single track and dirt roads. Hills are of course on tap for this race. The first half is largely dirt roads with lots of room for passing. At the top of the climb you get a break with your second aid station and some sweet singltrack descending back towards the Inn of the Seventh. I won’t say it is all downhill back to the in but minus a surprise or two it is a negative split for sure. I think the course is best summed up by last years winner Max King who said when asked what he thought of the course he simply replied “tough”.
10k follows the same course as the Half just turns around a little sooner. Make no mistake this is a fun trail run with lots of character. One way to look at it is the shorter course gets you to the tasty Deschutes Brewery recovery drink a little sooner.
Carpool As always parking is at a premium so please carpool if you can.

Does anyone have a map of the course for training purposes. If you can post it to this site I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers to all.
Here’s my Garmin info from last year’s race uploaded to MapMyRun:

Do any of the proceeds go to a good cause?
Looks like my map has moved…try this link:

I believe that the proceeds go to the Bend Education Foundation and to the La Pine district.
Yes portion of the proceeds from the Dirty 2nd Half will go to the Education Foundation. For more info check out the website.
